Payment integration

Payments wired into how your product actually works.

Taking a card is the easy part. Subscriptions that renew, failed payments, refunds, invoices that reach your accounts, and payments tied to a gate opening or a job finishing are where it gets hard. We build all of it.

You’re probably here because…

Payment problems we get asked to solve.

You need people to pay without a person there to take the money.

Payment as part of the flow.

In our parking system the plate is read, the payment taken through Windcave or Stripe and the gate opened, with nobody on site.

Subscriptions, trials and failed cards are handled by hand.

Billing that runs itself.

Plans, trials, renewals, failed-payment retries and cancellations handled by the system, with emails to the customer.

Payments and your accounts never match.

Invoices synced to accounting.

i-mve sends invoices and payments to the accounting software UK removals firms use, so reconciliation stops being a monthly chore.

Your marketplace needs to pay people as well as charge them.

Payouts to the other side.

Collect from one side and pay the other, with fees taken in the middle, through Stripe’s marketplace tools.

What we build

Payments that fit the product, not a bolted-on checkout.

Subscriptions

Payments at a device

Payment tied to a hardware event, like a gate, a scan or a machine starting.

Invoices and accounting

Invoices generated from jobs and synced to your accounting package.

Marketplace payouts

Charge buyers, pay sellers and keep your fee, with the records to match.

How a payments project runs

Everything is tested in the provider’s test mode before real money moves.

  1. Day 1

    A 30-minute call

Tell us how customers should pay and what should happen after they do.

  2. Next

    Provider and fixed quote

Which provider, which payment flows, how refunds and failures work, and one price.

  3. Week 1

    Accounts and access

The payment account in your name, with test keys shared with us.

  4. Design

    Checkout designs you approve

Payment screens and emails designed and signed off first.

  5. Build

    Build in test mode

Every flow, including failures and refunds, tested before live keys go in.

  6. Launch

    Go live and watch

Switched to live mode with close monitoring, and two months of free fixes.

What payment integration costs

Real ranges from our own projects. Your number comes from the call, as a fixed quote.

Smallest project we take$5,000A tightly scoped build with one core workflow.
Typical project$10,000–$30,000Several user roles, integrations and reporting.
Maintenance$700/monthBug fixes, updates and monitoring once the free period ends.

Included as standard

  • Testing every flow in the provider’s test mode
  • Failed payment, refund and cancellation handling
  • OWASP Top 10 security practices; no card numbers stored on your servers
  • Two months of free bug fixes after launch

Not included

  • Payment provider fees, charged by Stripe or Windcave
  • Merchant account applications
  • Features added mid-build, logged as extra hours

After the free two months, maintenance is $700 a month. New features are quoted as you need them, or you can have a dedicated engineer from $2,500 a month.

Are we the right team for this?

We’re a good fit if

  • Payments need to fit a real process, not just a checkout
  • You need subscriptions, payouts or payments at a device
  • The payment account will be in your name
  • You want every flow tested before real money moves

We’re probably not if

  • You only need a basic online shop checkout (Shopify or similar will do)
  • Requests for new features get reported as bugs so they don’t count as scope
  • You mainly need graphic design, video or animation
  • The budget is under $5,000

What I love about Team7 is that they always say: No worries, we can find a solution. This is the mindset of builders, creators, people who do not have fear, the partner you need if you want to excel.

Working with Mo and his team over the past year has been nothing short of exceptional. I was admittedly sceptical about investing such a large amount, but results exceeded every expectation.

They are amazing and consistently exceed expectations. They go above and beyond what is asked of them and their communication is top notch, so much so that we joke that they never sleep. The best of the best.

Common questions

Straight answers on providers, fees and security.

Ask us something else
Which payment providers do you work with?

Stripe and Windcave in production, and others where a client’s market needs them. We recommend a provider based on your customers’ countries and how they pay.

Do you store card details?

No. Card details go straight to the payment provider, which keeps them. Your system stores only a reference, which keeps you out of most card-security obligations.

How much does payment integration cost?

The smallest project we take on is $5,000. Payments with subscriptions, payouts or hardware usually land between $10,000 and $30,000. Provider fees are charged separately by the provider.

How do you handle security?

Every build follows the OWASP Top 10, with encryption for sensitive data and two-factor login included as standard. We have built systems that follow GDPR and HIPAA data-handling rules. We hold no security certifications, and we will say so if an auditor asks.

Who owns the code?

You do. At handover you get the Git repositories and written documentation. There is nothing tying the software back to us, so you can take it to an in-house team whenever you like.

What happens after launch?

Bug fixes are free for two months. After that, maintenance is $700 a month. New features are quoted as you need them, or you can have a dedicated engineer from $2,500 a month.

Who will I talk to, and how often?

Rehan, one of our two founders, is your day-to-day contact. You get updates on Slack twice a week and can see the code in your repository at any time. We split working hours between us to cover US, UK and Australian time zones, and we usually reply within an hour, sometimes the next morning.
